Short Bio
Dr. Zorana Stanković (born Kostić) is an Assistant professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, at the Department of Management in Mechanical Engineering. She teaches the following courses: Engineering Economics, Circular Economy, Economics of Enterprise, Investment management, Financial management, Engineering Management in Banking and Insurance. She worked as a Research Associate at Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics, University of Niš. She worked as a teaching assistant on subjects Microeconomics, and Theory and Policy of Prices at the Faculty of Economics in Niš. She worked at Ministry of Finance (budget sector) and at Commission for Protection of Competition (sector for economic analysis) in Belgrade. She gained international experience at the University of Maribor (ERASMUS+ Staff mobility for training), the University of Regensburg (BAYHOST program) and Paderborn (DAAD program) in Germany, as well as on study trips at the State Technological University "Shukhov" in Belgorod (Russia) and at the National University in Donetsk (Ukraine). She has published more than 80 scientific papers as author and coauthor, in scientific journals, monographs and thematic proceedings. She has actively participated in numerous domestic and international conferences. Her scientific interest is related to the Sustainable Development, Engineering Economics, Circular Economy, and application of micro and macroeconomic theory in business practice.

Motivation
My experience as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, along with my involvement in numerous scientific research projects, has honed my expertise in Engineering Economics, Industrial Organization, Application of micro and macro-economic theory in practice, Competition policy issues, and Circular economics. This program will enable me to network and spread my knowledge and support startups. In order to achieve their innovation goals, I am ready to share my experience with startups which express their willingness to invest in better market positions and business performance.
