Dr. Aleksandar Miltenović is an Associate Professor at the University of Niš, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Serbia, specializing in mechanical design, development, and engineering. He has been with the university since 2016, previously serving as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Miltenović earned his Dr.-Ing. from Ruhr-University Bochum and his Mr. and Dipl. Ing. degrees from the University of Niš. His research focuses on the design and analysis of mechanical systems, with significant contributions in the fields of gear mechanisms, rail transport automation, and biomedical engineering. He has secured numerous grants, including projects on autonomous train inspection systems and smart rail transport, funded by the European Commission and the Innovation Fund of Serbia. Dr. Miltenović's prolific output includes over 30 publications in high-impact journals and conference proceedings, addressing topics such as friction heat generation in gear systems, digital twin technology, and the development of smart automation systems. His work has a profound impact on advancing engineering technologies and enhancing industrial applications.

Motivation

My expertise in gear mechanisms, rail transport automation, and sustainable manufacturing processes can provide valuable insights for startups focused on improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact. Additionally, my work on advanced thermal analysis and digital twin technology positions me to guide startups on optimizing supply chains and implementing green logistics. Including me in the program will enhance its impact, offering startups comprehensive guidance in both technical and strategic aspects of sustainable manufacturing. My participation will help drive the success of startups in the competitive field of sustainable manufacturing.
