Dr. Milan Banić is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, Serbia, specializing in Mechanical Design, Development, and Engineering. He has been with the university since 2008, advancing from a Teaching and Research Assistant to his current role. Dr. Banić earned his Doctor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Niš. His extensive research includes over 40 publications in high-impact journals and conference proceedings. His work focuses on railway vehicle systems, gear mechanisms, and thermal analysis of mechanical structures. Notable projects include the development of an autonomous train undercarriage inspection system (ATUVIS) and smart rail transport solutions, funded by the European Commission and the Innovation Fund of Serbia. Dr. Banić's contributions to the field are recognized through numerous grants and contracts, enhancing the safety and efficiency of mechanical and rail transport systems. His research is characterized by the integration of advanced computational methods and practical engineering applications, significantly impacting the industry and academia.
My expertise in railway vehicle systems, gear mechanisms, and thermal analysis of mechanical structures can provide valuable insights for startups developing cutting-edge digital innovations.
